Chairperson DDC Ramban inaugurates Solar Lights in Sangaldan

RAMBAN : Chairperson District Development Council Ramban, Dr Shamshad Shan, ceremoniously inaugurated the street solar lights that were recently installed by the Jammu and Kashmir Energy Development Agency (JAKEDA) at Sangaldan market today.

A total of 39 solar lights have been allocated for the Sangaldan area under the DDC grants, facilitated through JAKEDA. In attendance at the event were representatives from PRIs, the general public and JAKEDA.

Following the formal opening of the solar lights at Sangaldan market, the Chairperson conveyed her appreciation to JAKEDA for their efforts in providing an ample number of solar lights for installation in public spaces. It was also revealed that the engineering wing of JAKEDA has plans to install more of these solar lights at various public places and prominent locations in the district.
