Coca-Cola Bottling Partner SLMG Beverages Inaugurates Manufacturing Facility in Amethi, Uttar Pradesh

State of the art plant to manufacture Coca-Cola beverages which will aid economic development and create more job opportunities in the region.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Shri Yogi Adityanath inaugurated the SLMG Beverages Plant in Trishundi which is located near Amethi, marking a significant milestone in the region’s industrial landscape. The inauguration was conducted in the august presence of Smt Smriti Irani, Union Minister of Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs, and Member of Parliament, Lok Sabha from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. SLMG Beverages, a flagship company of Ladhani Group is a leading franchise bottler for Coca-Cola in India. This state-of-the-art facility is set to manufacture Coca-Cola beverages, bringing a wave of economic development and job opportunities to the region.
SLMG Beverages’, announcement of the brand-new bottling facility in Trishundi is a testament to its dedication to expanding its manufacturing capabilities, symbolizing SLMG Beverages’ commitment to growth and progress in Uttar Pradesh.
SLMG plans to invest about INR 700 Crore in this plant with a total direct and in-direct employment of nearly 650 people in the area. However, it will create additional indirect job opportunities employing more than 2000 people in the regions of Purvanchal, Uttar Pradesh and Bundelkhand, Madhya Pradesh benefitting the local population.
Speaking at the inauguration, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri. The Trishundi bottling plant is poised to play a pivotal role in meeting the growing demand for Coca-Cola products, in Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Bihar, and Madhya Pradesh. The Trishundi plant is a fully automated bottling plant with 06 lines including a line that produces ASSP (Affordable Small Sparkling Pack) which has been specifically introduced for India and has a plastic reduction of approx. 35% in the 250 ml pack. The lines will produce beverages in sparkling, juices, and water categories offering a range of sustainable packaging solutions.

SLMG Beverages currently has seven plants spread across Uttar Pradesh and it bottles more than 4 crore bottles per day (approximately).

Taking a step towards creating a circular economy, SLMG Beverages recently introduced 100% recycled PET (rPET) bottles for Original Coca-Cola in pack sizes of 250 ml and 750 ml. SLMG recently announced that it will be spending close to 16 crores for acquiring 3000 electric vehicles to convert its existing ICE retail distribution fleet to EV’s.
