Colloquium on the aftermath of COVID-19 on Corporate Sector held
Aligarh: The Faculty of Commerce, AMU is organized two-day ‘a Colloquium on the Aftermath of Covid-19 on Indian Corporate Sector’ recently. AMU Vice Chancellor, Professor Tariq Mansoor presided over the inaugural program and said that the Corona Virus pandemic has caused immeasurable destruction across the world and it is a challenging task to look for possible opportunities for corporate sectors in the aftermath of this pandemic. The program was broadcast live on YouTube.
Prof Imran Saleem (Dean F/o Commerce) and Prof Nawab Ali khan (Chairman, Department of Commerce) was of the view that full extent of the damage caused by the COVID-19 pandemic both in terms of economic and non-economic cannot be measured in facts and figures.
Invited Professionals for the program including Mr Aman Rajoria (Managing Director – Head Private Banking of Standard Chartered Bank), Mr. Rahul Deorah ( Vice President ? Marketing of Urban Company), Mr. Manzar Chaudhary ( Technical Architect DELL Technologies would be the guests), Mr M W Saifi (Manager IDBI Bank Ltd.), Mr M F Khan (Senior Manager Vesna Tours and Travels), Mr W Rahman (Senior Officer Western India), Mr Z Emad (Product Manager), Mr F Khan ( HR Business Partner Schneider Electric), Mr S Khan and Ms U Jindal (both HR Business Partner AMAZON India) interacted with the students and were of the collective opinion that even as societies and businesses race to reopen, the global pandemic still poses significant problems.
Prof M Mohsin Khan in his welcome address emphasised on responding effectively to COVID-19 challenges.
The Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr A Musa Khan (Jt Organising Secretary) and all three sessions were moderated by Dr M Saeem Khan ( Jt Organising Secretary), Dr Aslam Khan, Dr Suhaila Parveen and Dr Mohd Ajmal respectively.
