Cooperation between PetrSU and Segezha Group
On September 22, a delegation from PetrSU visited Segezha Pulp and Paper Mill JSC. The delegation included the director of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences of PetrSU, Ph.D. VM Kostyukevich, Director of the Physico-Technical Institute of PetrSU, Ph.D. DI. Balashov, Head of the Department of Technology and Organization of the Forestry Complex of the Institute of Forestry, Mining and Construction Sciences of PetrSU, Doctor of Technical Sciences HE. Galaktionov, Director of the PetrSU Interdistrict Resource Center in Segezha E.Yu. Gusev.
PetrSU representatives took part in a working meeting with the management of Segezha PPM JSC. On the part of the enterprise, the meeting was attended by the General Director of JSC “Segezha PPM” A.V. Panshin, head of the training center of the directorate for personnel management of JSC “Segezha PPM” D.E. Svistunova; chief specialist on systems of remuneration and material incentives of the directorate for personnel management of JSC “Segezha PPM” N.М. Sorokin.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of interaction between Segezha PPM and PetrSU in the scientific and educational spheres. The topics of scientific developments that are most relevant for Segezha PPM were touched upon, namely, stabilization of paper web parameters, optimization of logistics processes in production, disposal of industrial waste of the enterprise. The issues of staffing, organization of internships for students of technical areas of training were considered. DI. Balashov spoke about the results of training the first group of employees of JSC “Segezha PPM” in PetrSU.
The parties agreed to continue active joint work in the field of scientific and educational projects, attracting students to practice and employment prospects for PetrSU graduates at Segezha PPM.
A.V. Panshin thanked PetrSU for the long-term cooperation, expressing confidence in its continuation and further strengthening of business ties in the scientific and educational spheres.
