Founded in 2020, the company builds products with a social purpose: to help make organisations safer.

Chief Technology Officer and founder, Peter Sueref, said: “The environment at Cardiff Innovations in sbarc|spark is a perfect fit for us, from the research groups working on societal issues using data, to the other innovative start-ups making digital products, as well as the organisations working to support the tech ecosystem in Wales.”

Empirisys helps clients build fast pathways towards safer, more reliable organisations, operations, leadership and culture. The company is the latest to team with the Cardiff Innovations following the recent arrivals of Concentric Health, Cyber Innovation Hub and Antiverse.

Cardiff Innovations offers a range of services and spaces over four floors, including lettable office and co-working space, formal and informal meeting areas, high-end conference facilities, wet lab space and joint exhibition/presentation areas including conference space and access to the on-site Milk & Sugar café.

Cardiff Innovations manager Rhys Pearce-Palmer said: “The Empirisys team bring a real sense of energy and enthusiasm to Cardiff Innovations, and we’ve been able to build real bonds in our fabulous building, which is a real people-pleaser in its own right with its comfy break out spaces, pods, offices and café – basically everything you need for catch-ups, showcases, and networking.”

Peter added: “At sbarc|spark, we can be at the heart of innovation in Wales. Rhys and the team have been hugely supportive since first giving us a tour last summer, helping us at every step of the way. We moved in just before Christmas (our Ferrero Roche tree was infamous on Floor 4 for a while) and it already feels as though we’ve found our home!

“sbarc|spark is going to help Empirisys attract and keep the best talent, build our network, access cutting edge research and let us grow at the centre of a thriving Welsh tech sector.”
