DC Baramulla reviews implementation of SAMBHAV (MUMKIN) scheme
Baramulla: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Baramulla, Mohammad Aijaz Asad today convened a meeting here to take a detailed review of the implementation of SAMBHAV (MUMKIN) scheme in the district.
It is worth mentioning here that under the SAMBHAV (MUMKIN) scheme, the desirous and eligible unemployed individuals are extended finance for the purchase of small commercial vehicles which are being supplied by Ashok Leyland.
On the occasion, a threadbare discussion was held wherein it was informed that 99 candidates have applied to avail the benefits of the scheme out of which 44 candidates have shown their willingness and given their consent.
It was further informed that beneficiaries under the scheme are supported by Ashok Leyland and Govt of J&K through cash assistance in order to meet their margin requirements including insurance/registration charges and initial repayment obligation (EMIS).
Speaking on the occasion, DC stressed upon the concerned agencies to disseminate awareness about the MUMKIN scheme among the masses so that more and more individuals are benefited. He urged upon the unemployed youth to come forward and avail the benefits that can reach to them through the scheme.
