DC Kishtwar chairs weekly Block Diwas at Mughal Maidan

KISHTWAR : District administration Kishtwar today organised the weekly block diwas meeting win block Mughal Maidan with due observance of COVID 19 SOPs.

Deputy commissioner Ashok Sharma listened to the issues of the locals in presence of SDM Chatroo Inderjeet Singh Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Development Kishore Singh Katoch, besides local Tehsildar, BDO ZEPO Representatives of Health and other concerned Departments.

The PRIs of the area highlighted a number of grievances and demands of urgent public importance.

The issues pertaining to the upgradation of education, health, rural infrastructure including water, electricity and daily essentials were raised by different delegations.

The delegations mainly demanded inclusion of the left out eligible persons in Awas-plus scheme.

The DC gave a patient hearing and redressed many issues on the spot while the rest of them were forwarded to concerned quarters.

Responding to the specific demands, the DC said the inclusion of left out eligible persons in Awas-plus Yojana has been recommended to the concerned and the response is expected soon.
