DC Kupwara reviews digitization of Jamabandis under DILRMP

Asks officers to work on mission mode to complete targets

 

KUPWARA : The Deputy Commissioner (DC), Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir today directed Revenue Officers of Kupwara district to accelerate the digitization of Jamabandis on mission mode and chase the daily target of digitization of ten thousand Khasras.

The DC said this while addressing a meeting of Revenue Officers, here which was also attended by ADC Handwara, Nazir Ahmad Mir; ACR Kupwara, Jowhar Ali, SDMs of Lolab and Karnah, besides, Tehsildars.

The meeting was aimed at to review the process regarding digitization of Jamabandis under Digital India Land Records Modernization Programme (DILRMP).

The meeting was informed that the total cumulative digitization of Khasras has crossed the 50000 mark while daily progress of digitization of Khasra numbers is around 3000.

Khalid Jehangir stressed upon the officers to accelerate the digitization process to achieve the daily target of 10000 Khasra numbers so that the digitization process could be completed within the stipulated time frame as prescribed by the Government.

Earlier, the DC received updated status of the progress and feedback from all Tehsildars regarding the digitization process.
