DC Rajouri sanctions Rs 14.04 lakh sponsorship in favour of 44 children under ICPS

RAJOURI : Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Rajesh K Shavan today sanctioned the sponsorship amount of Rs 14.04 lakh under Integrated Child Protection Scheme in favour of children in need of care and protection.

The financial assistance was sanctioned in favour of 44 children @ Rs 32000 each. He also interacted with the children and inquired about their well being.

The Deputy Commissioner also said that the District Administration will adopt one child namely Anjali who is completely blind. He asked the District Social Welfare Officer to get the child checked by an Ophthalmologist and added that the expense for the eye treatment of the child would be borne by the District Administration.

Among the others, ADDC, Pawan Kumar; PO ICDS, Kartar Singh and DSWO, Wakeel Ahmed Bhatt were also present on the occasion.
