DC Samba approves cases under TEJASWINI and MUMKIN Schemes

SAMBA : District Level Implementation Committee today sanctioned 15 cases under Tejaswini scheme and 29 cases under Mumkin scheme here at a meeting chaired by Deputy Commissioner, Anuradha Gupta, who is also its chairperson.

Deputy Commissioner informed that under Tejaswini scheme the Government provides financial support up to Rs 5lakhs to women/ girls of 18 to 35 year age to start up their own business, while under Mumkin scheme the youth are facilitated to establish a sustainable livelihood line in transport sector by providing financial assistance for purchase of new small commercial vehicles.

The DC also stressed on ensuring 100 percent saturation of all beneficiary oriented schemes, while directing the concerned departments to encourage the targeted lot to avail the benefits.
