DC Samba seeks cooperation of civil society in tackling Covid pandemic

Samba: Deputy Commissioner, Samba, Anuradha Gupta today chaired a meeting of civil society members including representatives of Beopar Mandal and Traders Association to sensitize them about COVID-19 management, here at conference hall samba.

The meeting witnessed an elaborated discussions on various Covid control measure being taken by the district administration Samba including following of covid SoPs, avoiding large gatherings, maintaining social distancing and wearing proper mask besides other slew of directions were also issued by the chair for controlling Covid spread in the district.

During the meeting, the members of market assured full cooperation with administration and apprised the Deputy Commissioner about various initiatives already taken like installation of sanitizers, distribution of masks and following appropriate behaviour.

The Deputy Commissioner Samba said that markets associations need to devise a mechanism for strictly adhering to Covid protocols. They were informed about alternate day opening of left side and right side shops.

Among others, the meeting was attended by SSP Rajesh Sharma, ADDC Tilak Raj Shastri, ADC Suram Chand Sharma besides ACR, SDMs Dy-SP Hq, SDPO Tehsildars , SHOs and other officers/officials members of makers associations were also present.
