DC Udhampur conducts extensive tour of Latti, inspects ongoing developmental works
Inaugurates model Panchayat Ghar at Sira, listens to public issues
UDHAMPUR : To take stock of ongoing developmental works and mega projects being executed in different areas, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Krittika Jyotsna today conducted an extensive tour of remote areas of Pattangarh, Bandhole. She inspected the ongoing construction work of roads and bridges being executed under the PMGSY sector there.
En-route, the DC also inaugurated Model panchayat Ghar at Sira Morh in presence of PRI members, officers and locals.
The DC congratulated the people for getting the Panchayat Ghar and said, it will prove beneficial for the people in getting their developmental issues resolved in a better way.
Saying that road connectivity is a key to development of an area, she said once the area has good roads it automatically boosts the economy of the area.
During the tour, the DC inspected Gharrian Dhanas and Nagulta road under PMGSY and directed the concerned department to expedite the pace of work and ensure timely completion.
Later, the DC also reviewed the progress of the International Yoga centre under construction at Mantalai of District Udhampur.
Executing agencies were directed to expedite the pace of work on the prestigious project and ensure its completion within the stipulated time frame.
