DC Udhampur issues lockdown relaxations as per Govt directives

Udhampur: To implement the directions of Jammu and Kashmir Government regarding the lockdown relaxations, Deputy Commissioner, Udhampur Dr. Piyush Singla said that Udhampur District is categorized as orange zone and following relaxations with all COVID-19 Containment measures are given.
Singla Said that all hospitals/private clinic/nursing homes will resume functions, Hotels can operate kitchen for home delivery purpose only.
In a marriage function less than 50 people are allowed and for cremations and last rites only 20 people are allowed, schools/colleges administrative units can resume administrative works only all religious places are closed for religious gathering/congregations.
No movement for non essential activities will be allowed between 7.00pm to 7.00am and there will be curfew during this period, Public transport is not allowed, movement from orange to orange zone is allowed but no inter zone movement allowed without permission.
All malls will remain closed besides all Shops single branded / multi branded shops will open from 9: Am to 5: Pm, City area will be no parking zone. In private vehicle in case of emergent situation only three persons one on driver seat and two on back seat will be allowed to move, any violations will be viewed seriously and strict action will be taken against the defaulters.
Parking will be allowed in internal city area, strict action will be taken against the defaulters and all shopkeepers and related associations are appealed to ensure no vehicles is parked in front of their establishments. Auto rickshaws are allowed with 02 persons only, no pillion ride on two wheeler is allowed. Industries with 50% staff strength allowed with all precautionary measures, inter district cab movement not allowed, All rural works /NREGA /construction works are allowed in rural areas. In municipal areas civil constructions can be carried out with proper permission from ACR and for interstate and inter province movement permission from Divisional Commissioner Jammu is required.
All Precautions are to be taken , social distancing should be maintained, shopkeepers must ensure that SOPs are being followed properly, shopkeepers are responsible for maintenance of all protocols.
Shopkeepers to ensure mask/sanitizer are being used by the customers and their staff and field checking teams are activated to monitor the implementation of instructions . CEO Municipality Udhampur and Food Safety Officer asked to check the eateries in Udhampur. DC appealed people that all SOPs should be followed with full responsibility and any violation will attract penal action.
