DDC Chairperson Udhampur reviews RDD sector development works

Udhampur: District Development Council Chairperson, Lal Chand today reviewed the Block wise progress of various works being executed under MGNREGA, 14th FC and other schemes by Rural Development Department here at a meeting

The meeting was attended by DDC Vice Chairperson, Juhi Manhas, BDC chairpersons; DDC members; Additional District Development Commissioner; Chief Planning Officer; SE PWD; ACD, besides all BDOs and field functionaries.

At the outset, Assistant Commissioner Development gave a detailed power point presentation on the progress of different schemes of RDD sector.

Threadbare discussion were held on various issues which includes MGNREGA, Status of wage/material and expenditure of Financial Year 2020-21, Labour budget performance, PDs generated, payment of wages, Block wise status of wages and disbursement, Status of completed works, Geo tagging of works and water-bodies, PMAY-G progress of phase-I,II and III, Status of Aadhaar Seeding, Block wise Physical and Financial progress of 14th FC works, SBM -G, Registration of class D contractors, Rain water harvesting etc.

The BDOs were asked to hold monthly meetings and awareness camps in their respective areas to motivate the general public to avail the benefits of various Centrally Sponsored Schemes and registration of class D contractors in all Panchayaats in consultation with SE PWD and SE PHE in a mission mode so that earmarked funds for B2V can be utilized .The Chairperson asked the ACD and Executive Engineer REW to ensure immediate framing of estimates.

The DDC Chairperson directed BDOs and Executive Engineer REW to expedite the progress of works and complete estimation of B2V and 14th FC works and achieve the targets set by the Government as per the timeline.
