DDC Doda reviews implementation of Social Sector schemes
Doda: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Doda, Vikas Sharma today chaired a meeting of key officials of ICDS and Social welfare department and reviewed the implementation of various social security schemes and took stock of the functioning of MSK, Childline, ICPS and One Stop Centre.
During the meeting, the DDC held threadbare discussion on various pension schemes, status of weeding out, pendency if any, sanctioning of cases under SMAS, RMV, pre and post matric scholarships, implementation of PMMVY, Poshan Abhiyan program, funds available and incurred under PMAGY scheme, screening under RBSK etc, besides sought details regarding achievements under BBBP scheme.
The DDC directed all the concerned to achieve the 100% Adhaar seeding of all beneficiaries and cent-percent saturation of all individual benefit schemes.
The PO ICDS was asked to submit the list of non functional Anganwadi centres to the DC office, and notify the dates of periodical conduct of Village Health and Sanitation Committee meeting as per the provision of program.
The DDC asked the concerned to make concerted efforts to achieve the set targets which require strict implementation at grassroots level, besides asked the planning section to get the exact information from all the departments as per the monitoring format to facilitate error free communication with the concerned higher authorities.
The DDC also took stock of the functioning of ICPS, Childline, MSK and One Stop Centre and asked them to generate awareness about their functioning among the general masses to enable people to avail the services rendered by these organisations.
The meeting was attended by ADC Doda, PO ICDS, CPO Doda, TSWO Doda, besides officials of MSK, OSC, Childline and ICPS.
