DDC Kulgam tours Noorabad, reviews availability of essentials, inspects health institutions, dev projects

Kulgam: District Development Commissioner (DDC) Kulgam, Showkat Aijaz Bhat today conducted an extensive tour of Noorbad area to take stock of availability of essentials and inspected health institutions and on-going developmental projects in the sub division.
He was accompanied by SDM, Noorabad, Executive engineers of R&B and PHE, Tehsildar Noorbad, CMO,BMO and other concerned.
Enrout, he interacted with delegations from various areas including D.K.Marg, Yarikhah, Ahmadabad, Laisoo, Dragdan, Kounsarbal, D.H.Pora, Manzgam and other areas who apprised him about their issues and put forth their demands.
Most of the demands were redressed on the spot while directing the concerned officers of the District Administration to look into rest of the grievances and demands on priority
Later DDC inspected PHC at Manzgam to take stock of the health services being provided to the people of the area. He inspected various sections of the hospital and took stock of the availability of medicines there. He directed the CMO to ensure punctuality of staff in the hospital.
While inspecting under-execution Aadigan Bridge, aCRF project which is coming up at Rs 20 crore, DDC directed the concerned executing agency to expedite the pace of work on the project.
