DDC reviews restoration of essential services, developmental works in Gandoh post snowfall
Doda: District Development Commissioner, Doda, Dr Sagar D Doifode today visited sub division Gandoh to take stock of restoration of essential services disrupted due to incessant rains and snowfall in past few days.
He also reviewed the status of ongoing development projects in the sub division.
Sub Divisional Magistrate, Gandoh, Dr Pritam Lal Thapa, apprised that the restoration of various roads has been completed and roads are through for the vehicular movement, He further informed that there is no shortage of essential commodities in the sub division.
While reviewing the progress of the ongoing PMGSY roads, the DDC directed the concerned department to resolve the bottlenecks on Kharangal-Chowri road and complete the patch work on Dedkai road on priority basis for the convenience of the locals of the twin areas.
The DDC also directed the officers/officials of PDD to expedite the restoration of power, in case of any fault, and keep men and machinery on alert to avoid power shutdown and unscheduled cuts.
Further, the DDC directed the key Officers/officials of the sub divisional administration to remain available in their respective areas to redress the grievances of the locals without any delay especially amid the ongoing winter season.
The meeting was attended by Tehsildar Gandoh Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, Ex En PMGSY Thathri, Ex En PWD Spl Sub division Gandoh M K Vikram, BDO’s, AEE PDD, besides other officers of the sub division.
