DDMA Kathua approves 1205 relief cases under SDRF

KATHUA: District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kathua today cleared 1206 relief cases and sanctioned Rs 27.08 Lakh for the farmers affected by recent hailstorm here at its meeting chaired by Additional District Development Commissioner, Puneet Sharma.

A total of 1205 relief cases of crop damage claims of Tehsil Billawar, Nagri Parole, Basohli and Mahanpur covered under SDRF norms were taken up for discussion.

After the scrutiny of the documents, the authorities found all the cases complete in all respects and approved for the relief as per the laid down procedure of SDRF.
