Department of pre-university and vocational guidance sums up the results of the “Week without turnstiles”

The annual all-Russian vocational guidance campaign was held with the participation of Petrozavodsk State University.
The action “Week without turnstiles” is held annually and represents a whole range of career guidance activities aimed at acquainting schoolchildren with the specifics of work at the leading enterprises of the region, as well as training in educational organizations where future specialists, current students, will soon begin to receive education.

Representatives of the University Yu.V. Semenova, head of the Department of pre-university and vocational guidance work, and M.N. Semenova, head of the department for organizing student admission, held a number of career guidance meetings with high school students in the city’s schools, told potential applicants about the possibilities of obtaining higher education at PetrSU, the nuances of the admissions campaign in 2021 , answered numerous questions related to admission to Petrozavodsk State University.

Yu.V. Semenova noted:

Our university prepares highly qualified specialists in various fields that are in demand on the labor market, and current school graduates should know that PetrSU is an excellent launching pad for higher education and their future successful professional activities.

Vocational guidance meetings within the framework of the Week without turnstiles were held at the Gymnasium No. 30 named after DN Muzaleva, secondary school №36 with in-depth study of foreign languages, secondary school № 27 with in-depth study of individual subjects and in the secondary general education Finno-Ugric school named after Elias Lennroth.

The event was organized by the Office of Pre-University and Career Guidance and was held within the framework of the Development Program of the flagship university and career guidance work of the university.
