Diplomats from 11 countries visit the Indian School of Business
Mohali: The Indian School of Business (ISB) hosted a group of senior diplomats from 11 countries as a part of a Diplomats Familiarisation Programme. Senior diplomats from the missions of Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Brazil, Ghana, Kenya, Malaysia, Nepal, South Africa, Suriname, Turkey and Uganda who are in charge of Education and Economic sections participated in the programme at the Mohali campus of ISB. The diplomats were exposed to various sessions on research, programmes and the international outreach of ISB. Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, ISB, DNV Kumara Guru, Director, External Relations, ISB and several faculty interacted with the Diplomats. Shri Rajat Agarwal, IAS, CEO, Punjab Bureau of Investment Promotion interacted with the diplomats on investment ecosystem in Punjab. The diplomats requested ISB to make available scholarships for their students to study at the ISB. Eddison Mensah Agbenyegah, Minister and Head of Chancery, High Commission of Republic of Ghana complimented the Indian School of Business for organizing such a well structured programme which gave the diplomats an overview of a world class institution in India.
