DLSA Kulgam organises daylong awareness campaign on ‘Legal aid services’

KULGAM: The District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Kulgam today organised a daylong awareness Campaign/Special Drive to sensitize people about free legal aid services for weaker sections of the society.

The programme was organised under the Chairmanship of Chairman DLSA, Pr. District & Sessions Judge Kulgam, Tahir Khursid Raina and under the guidance of Sub-Judge/ Secretary, Mehreen.

During the campaign, the people were sensitized about legal aid services by the authorities through announcements for which a vehicle was used.

The van was flagged-off from District Court Complex Kulgam and the awareness van travelled across various Panchayats/villages of Kulgam district to spread the awareness regarding providing Free Legal Aid Services to poor, weaker and marginalized sections of the Society.

The awareness programmes were also conducted in all the Tehsil Legal Service Committees like D.H.Pora and Qazigund where Adv. Zaffar Wani raised awareness among people about various schemes that are in Vogue.
