DLSA Reasi holds awareness program on Women Rights, empowerment

REASI: District Legal Services Authority Reasi, today organised a Legal Awareness Program on “the Empowerment of Women” at Govt. High School Sirla Bhagga, in continuation with the Action plan issued by JKLSA under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign and under the guidance and Supervision of R.N.Watal, Chairman DLSA Reasi.

During the awareness program Legal Rights available to women under different Statues were discussed at length with the participants by the resource persons.

The awareness program was held by District Legal Services Authority Reasi to make the Women participants aware about their Legal Rights so that they can avail those rights as and when need arises to them. The program was attended by the members of National Rural Livelihood Mission Reasi, Mahila Shakti Kendra Reasi, Child Welfare Committee Reasi, a large number of women of different Self help groups and also by Anganwari workers etc.
