DLSA Reasi organises legal awareness programs

REASI : District Legal Service Authority Reasi, in collaboration with District Social Welfare Department today organised a Legal Awareness program here at Panchayat Ghar Aghar Jitto.

The program was held under the aegis of NALSA and in compliance with the JKLSA Action plan and under PAN India Awareness and Outreach Campaign launched as a part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav.

R.N.Watal, Chairman DLSA Reasi supervised the event wherein the eligible persons identified during the ongoing PAN India campaign were on the spot provided sanction letters for availing the benefits of different Welfare Schemes of Central and UT Govt. Another awareness program on Central and UT Government Welfare Schemes was held at Ram Leela Ground Reasi, where Panel Advocate, Ajay Salalia was the resource person.

Besides, a door to door awareness campaign was conducted through Para Legal Volunteers to inform the common masses about different welfare schemes meant for the weaker sections of the society, especially in rural areas.
