DLSA Reasi’s Communal Harmony Campaign week witnesses host of activities

Reasi: The Communal Harmony Campaign week organised by District Legal Services Authority Reasi under the Chairmanship of Kamlesh Pandit (Principal District and Sessions Judge) Chairman DLSA, Reasi concluded witnessing host of activities during the seven day drive.

The Communal Harmony Campaign week was held from 19th to 25th of November, 2020 and Flag Day on 25th November, 2020.

Different programmes were organised throughout the district in collaboration with Tehsil Legal Services Committee Katra, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Mahore and Education Department, Reasi.

In continuation of the campaign; debates, seminars, painting, posters and essay competition on communal harmony were organised in different schools of this district.

The Paralegal Volunteers also organised micro camps to create awareness among the public about communal harmony in their areas.

Similar campaigns were organised in Court Complex Katra and Court Complex Mahore to spread the message of communal harmony and national integration to the general public.

To observe Flag Day and Communal Harmony Campaign, a webinar was also organised by on Nov 25, .2020 which was attended by Chairman DLSA Kamlesh Pandit, Secretary DLSA Anjum Ara, Chairman TLSC Katra/ Mahore, principals, teachers, students of different schools, advocates and PLV’s. On this occasion speakers and students of different schools of Reasi have also enlightened the participants about the importance and objectives of the topic.

Constitution Day was also celebrated by DLSA Reasi under the Chairmanship of Kamlesh Pandit (Principal District and Sessions Judge) Chairman District Legal Services Authority, Reasi today.

The day was celebrated by reading of Preamble at District Court Reasi, at Court Complex Katra and at Court Complex Mahore at 11:00 AM.

Besides this a webinar was also organised which was attended by Judicial Officers, Advocates and PLV’s of this district. The participants were apprised about the importance of the day. Speakers also highlighted rights guaranteed to the citizens of India, the framework of Constitution and duties of citizens as enshrined in our constitution.
