DLSA Udhampur holds awareness event on Elimination of Child Marriage

UDHAMPUR : In Connection with Pan India Awareness and Outreach Campaign launched under the aegis part of “AZADI KA AMRIT MAHOTSAV”, the Para Legal Volunteers of District Legal Services Authority Udhampur organized series of awareness programmes on elimination of Child Marriage in remote areas.

They educated the people about the bad consequences of Child Marriage and advised the people to refrain from this evil practice. They also informed them about the legal consequences for those indulging in the early marriage of their wards.
