DLSA Udhampur hosts awareness events on Anti Ragging Laws, Environment protection

UDHAMPUR : District Legal Services Authority, Udhampur, under the guidance of the Chairman today organized two online programmes one on “Anti Ragging Laws” and a Painting Competition on “Protection of Environment”.

The Webinar on “Anti Ragging Laws” was attended by School Children of Government Model Girls Higher Secondary School Udhampur, Government Higher Secondary School Sudhmahadev, Government Higher Secondary School Krimchi and Government Higher Secondary School Thial.

The Resource Persons threw light on various “Anti Ragging Laws” and stressed upon the students to stand against Ragging. The Students and the Participants were sensitized on the Subject of Anti Ragging. They impressed upon all the students not to tolerate any form of ragging as it is against law.

The Resource Persons of the Webinar were Advocate Akhil Dubey, Advocate Pawan Gupta, and Advocate Mallikarjun Singh Slathia (Panel Lawyers). Later, a Painting Competition was organized by DLSA Udhampur at various schools of District Udhampur. The theme of the Competition was “Protection of Environment”. Resource person Advocate Akhil Dubey, Advocate Pawan Gupta and Advocate Mallikarjun Singh Slathia (all Panel Lawyers) highlighted the importance of Saving the Environment as it is the need of the hour. The Students who participated in the Competition were felicitated by ranking them Ist, 2nd & 3rd and rest of the students were awarded with Corticated of Appreciation by Advocate Akhil Dubey (Panel Lawyer). Both the Programmes were also attended by TLSC Ramnagar, TLSC Chenani and TLSC Majalta.
