Dr. Shamsahd reviews functioning of KGBV Chanderkote, inspects Maitra road

RAMBAN : Chairperson, District Development Council, Ramban, Dr. Shamshad Shan on Monday visited Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya (KGBV) Chanderkote to review the functioning of the institution.

Chief Education Officer, V.K Koul accompanied the Chairperson.

While reviewing the functioning of the institution, the Chairperson asked the school management to take measures to meet staff requirements and fill other gaps, if any. The Warden and teachers were asked to work together to ensure that the school delivers the best possible results. She asked the CEO to personally monitor the working of the institution.

The Chairperson also interacted with the students and enquired about the education being imparted to them. She also took the stock of meal and menu roster and asked the warden to provide quality meals to the students.

Dr. Shamshad Shan encouraged the teachers to put in extra effort to impart quality education to the students.

After listening to the issues raised by the teachers, the Chairperson assured them of all possible assistance to facilitate a healthy teaching atmosphere.

Later, the Chairperson inspected the sinking road stretch near Jaiswal Bridge which has been damaged due to incessant Rainfall.

While reviewing the progress, the Chairperson impressed upon the BRO to move in adequate men and machinery to speed up the restoration work.

The Chairperson was informed that several heavy vehicles loaded with material meant for the Railway project at Sangaldan, Ind and Sumber areas have been stuck due to sinking of the road stretch.
