DSW issues advisory to Provosts for prevention from Corona Virus

Aligarh: Taking preventive steps for Corona Virus, Dean Studentâ??s Welfare of Aligarh Muslim University Prof Mujahid Beg has issued advisory to all the Provosts of Halls of Residences for wide circulation of advisory by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare among all students. In his letter, Prof Beg has advised for counseling students on the Corona Virus prevention. He has also requested that the students should refrain from visiting crowded places and avoid travelling to other places.

Prof Beg has earlier held a meeting with the Provosts of Halls of Residences and has advised that proper sanitation drive should be undertaken in all the Halls of Residences. Dining Hall and other places should be specifically kept clean and hygienic. Regular fogging should be done in University campus and Halls of Residences.

Prof. Beg has also requested that the advisory from Ministry of Health & Family Welfare regarding Corona Virus be given wide publicity among students, employees and non teaching staff. The advisory should be displayed at prominent places for awareness.
