E-Poster, E-Slogan competition to mark Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav

ALIGARH : Celebrating the 75 years of country’s independence, the Department of Prosthodontics, Dr Z A Dental College, Aligarh Muslim University organised e-Poster and e-Slogan writing competition under the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav program.

The e-Poster and e-Slogan writing competitions were based on different themes including “freedom to smile”, “freedom from missing a part of you”, “transforming oral rehabilitation”, “Azadi from conventional to digital and modern approach”, “sound dentition, satisfactory life”.

In the e-Poster competition, Dr Dennis Brij, Dr Najmus Sahar and Dr Farheen won the first prize while Mohd Yusuf and Ritik Sharma secured second prize. Dr Tooba Qazi, Lovekush, Parth Sarthi and Hassan Adil won the third prize. Dr Dhanush was given a consolation prize.

In the e-Slogan writing competition, Misbah, Dr Zeba Ambreen stood first while Insha got the second prize and Faiza Alam Khan received the third prize. Md Saif Siddiqui was given a consolation prize.

The motto of the program was “Oral health for all: Every Indian has the right to smile”

Prof. Asfar Ali Khan (Director, Directorate of School Education, AMU) was the chief guest on the occasion while Prof. S S Ahmad (Former Chairperson, Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery), Prof N D Gupta (Department of Periodontics) and Prof Geeta Rajput (Department of Prosthodontics) were the jury members.
