Education Minister Dr. Ashwath Narayan to inaugurate Karnataka’s first NEP conclave
Bangalore : The Higher Education Council, Government of Karnataka in collaboration with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC), the UK headquartered skill development and education company to organisations worldwide, will host the state’s first National Education Policy (NEP) Conclave 2021. Dr. Ashwath Narayan CN, Hon’ble Minister of Higher Education & Skill Development, Government of Karnataka, will be the Chief Guest at the Conclave.
Eminent dignitaries from academia including Chancellors, Vice Chancellors, Registrars and Directors across universities, along with educationists and corporate, including Prof. Gopalkrishna Joshi, Executive Director, Karnataka State Higher Education Council; Mr. Ashwin Gowda IRS, Managing Director, Karnataka Skill Development Corporation; Mr. Pradeep P IAS, Commissioner, Dept. of Collegiate Education & Technical Education, Government of Karnataka; Ms. Teresa Jacobs, Executive Director – Learning, International Skill Development Corporation; Dr. Venugopal K R, Vice Chancellor, Bangalore University; Dr. Raj Singh, Vice Chancellor, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru; Dr. Dhimant Ganatra, Deputy Director – Jain Online, Jain (Deemed-to-be University), Bengaluru; Dr. Y. The inaugural Karnataka NEP Conclave 2021 will bring together eminent stakeholders on a single platform to discuss the future of the NEPs and strategise provisions to enable internationalisation in the education and jobs sectors. The conclave will be hosted at Hotel Shangri-La, Bengaluru on Saturday, 13th November 2021 in Bengaluru. It will be managed by EPG – an economic and strategy consulting firm with offices in London, Bangalore, and Uganda.
