Emeritus Institute of Management and MIT Sloan Executive Education launch course on Innovation of Products and Services: MIT’s Approach to Design Thinking

Mumbai: Emeritus Institute of Management, in collaboration with MIT Sloan Executive Education launches course on ‘Innovation of Products and Services: MIT’s Approach to Design Thinking’. The eight weeks certificate programme has been designed to train the participants on how design thinking enables continuous innovation by blending the perspectives of marketing, design and engineering into a systematic approach.

The course further entails the participants to understand the process of design thinking, identify and assess customer opportunities, generate and evaluate new product and service concepts, design services and customer experiences, design for environmental sustainability and evaluate product development economics.

The uniqueness of this course is the cutting edge content from research at MIT, an engaging approach to learning including individual and peer group assignments and a continual focus on application. It is a thought provoking course with challenging work assignments as well as a powerful change management simulation to immerse the participants in the complexities and nuances of effective changes. Candidates with over five years of work experience as on January 1, 2017 can apply for the course. The last date for applying for the course is March 12, 2017.
