Entrance exams for admission to various courses of Aligarh Muslim University postponed due to surge in Covid cases

 

Aligarh: The entrance examinations for admission to various courses of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) have been postponed in view of the safety of the students amid the sudden nation-wide surge of Covid-19 cases.

“A fresh schedule for the entrance exams will be issued soon,” stated the notice of the Office of The Controller of Examinations.

All students, set to appear for the AMU entrance exams must note that the university will upload the new schedule for the exams on its official website, amucontrollerexams.com.

Meanwhile, it was also decided in a consultative meeting of the deans of faculties, principals of colleges and polytechnics and other functionaries of the University under the chairmanship of the Vice Chancellor that all classes of various faculties for the session 2020-21 shall continue in the online mode, till the end of the semester, both for existing as well as for newly admitted students. The end-semester University examinations for the session 2020-21 shall be held only in the online mode as per the schedule, which will be notified soon.
