Extension lecture on Management of Diabetes during Ramadan
Aligarh: Adept resource persons will deliberate medications, medical nutrition therapy, dietary patterns and the therapeutic options for diabetic patients during the holy month of Ramadan in the extension lecture on ‘Management of Diabetes during Ramadan’ jointly organised by the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology and Department of Medicine, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College (JNMC), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) on April 4 at 9:30 am.
The extension lecture programme will take place at the in the Conference Hall of The Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology.
Prof Jamal Ahmad (former Dean, Faculty of Medicine, JNMC), Dr Sarah Alam (Consultant Endocrinologist, Asian Hospital, Faridabad) and Dr Hamid Ashraf (Director, Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Diabetes and Endocrinology) are the resource persons.
“The Management of Diabetes Mellitus in Ramadan is a challenging issue, the programme will greatly benefit physicians,” said Dr Hamid Ashraf.
He added that faculty members, medical students and leading physicians of Aligarh will attend the lecture.
