Faculty Development Programme on E-Teaching

Aligarh: The Department of Commerce, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organized a five-day Faculty Development Programme on Open Source Tools for Online Teaching. The programme was conducted on MOODLE platform and participants were familiarized with software like Open Broadcaster Software, LOOM, Quizzes and many more.

Prof M Mohsin Khan (Coordinator) said the objective of the programme was to make the teaching fraternity aware of new technology as the forthcoming semester is likely to continue though online mode.

Prof Imran Saleem (Dean, Faculty of Commerce) said the department will conduct two more similar programmes for Indian and Foreign faculty members.

Prof Nawab Ali Khan (Chairman, Department of Commerce) informed that the Department plans a training program for research scholars also in the near future.
