The framework of the group with a president, secretary, treasurer, and members along with other important positions will be formed in the next two-three months. We connected more than 400 in just three months. We aim to take this alumni number to 2000 while connecting with the other seven NDMC Navyug Senior Secondary Schools in the next 3-4 years.”

NSPR Alumni Group aims to go beyond fun and food meets, and networking events. It will focus on giving back to the alma mater with initiatives that support the talented, unprivileged, and needy students for a better future and towards the development of the Nation. The mission is: ‘No student should pass out anxious, without any career counselling and basic life skills.’

“We will be supporting students in career counselling. Besides, regular workshops on basic life skills will be organised from the 2023-2024 academic session. We also have plans to take care of the remuneration of one or two guest teachers”, said the spokesperson of the NSPR Alumni Group.

Started by Navyug School Education Society under NDMC, there are eight higher secondary Navyug Schools including NSPR, and three primary schools in the Capital. The society and schools were set up to cater to the quality education need of bright and talented children especially those belonging to economically weaker sections. These schools received a lot of acclamation owing to quality education, good care of students, and meritorious performance of the children passing out of them.
