GCW holds series of activities on Har Ghar Tiranga campaign; distributes national flags

UDHAMPUR : To spread awareness among the students as well as general masses on Har Ghar Tiranga, under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, a theme based Nukkad Natak was today presented by the NSS Unit of Government College for Women(GCW) Udhampur, in collaboration with Department of Music .

The programme was held under the supervision of the College Principal, Dr. Monika Sharma.

The Principal of the college distributed National Flags among the students and staff of the college and asked them to hoist it on the rooftop of their homes to celebrate “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”.

Saher Shakeel, Nazmeen, Taniya, Shivanika, Saima, Shriya, Meenu and Varsha of Semester 4th and 6th presented the theme based Nukkad Natak for generating awareness on Har Ghar Tiranga.

Among others, HOD Music, Dr. Seema Sharma, HoD Zoology Dr. Sanjeet Kour, PO NSS Prof. Sumita Rao, Prof. Shallu Jasrotia, Dr. Sanajay Kumar, Prof. Yash Kumar and other senior faculty members, non-teaching staff and students were also present on the occasion.
