GDC Ramban organises Seminar on “Energy Conservation”

RAMBAN : NSS Unit of Government Degree College Ramban, today organized a seminar on the theme “Energy Conservation ” to mark the national energy conservation week under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrut Mahosav”.

The program started with a brief introduction by NSS program officer Prof. Vickey Rattan. A good number of students participated in the seminar by duly following COVID-19 appropriate behaviour.

The HoD Environmental Science, Dr. Vikram Rathore, HOD Geography Dr Ankur were the keynote speakers on the occasion.

They said energy conservation is aimed to promote judicious use of the nonrenewable energy.

The goal of energy conservation techniques is to reduce demand, protect and replenish supplies, develop and use alternative energy sources, and to clean up the damage from the prior energy processes.

Among others Prof. Younis Ahmad, Prof. Vinod Kumar and Ramandeep Krialia PTI were also present on the occasion. The program concluded with the formal vote of thanks proposed by Prof. Vijay Sharma.
