GDC Sunderbani holds awareness program on Energy Conservation

RAJOURI : Department of Environmental sciences, in collaboration with NSS unit of Government Degree College Sunderbani organized a series of events to mark National Energy Conservation Day under “Azadi ka Ait Mahotsav” from December 22 and December 23 , 2021.

A group discussion of the students was hosted on Conventional energy resources, their depletion and alternative energy resources. Another attraction of the event was an inter college poster making contest. The students evinced keen interest by creating thought provoking posters on the subject of Energy Conservation. The 1st position was bagged by Priya Sharma of semester 3rd, while 2nd position was secured by Rohit Sharma and 3rd position was shared by Shivani Sharma and Sakshi Sharma of semester 3rd.

Principal, Dr. Vandana Gupta appreciated the department of environmental sciences and NSS unit for organising the highly relevant awareness Program. The Prof. Sheraz Kousser, Prof. Sham lal, Dr. Paras Ram and Dr. Arpana acted as judges.
