GIAN course on ‘Expediency of Hindi Translation in a Global Perspective’

Aligarh : An array of researchers, embassy officials, government employees, members of the private and government bank workforce, journalists, HR executives, graduate and postgraduate students, teachers and members of Hindi academies will sharpen their vocabulary and learn the use of specialized terminology for accurate translations in the Global Initiative of Academic Networks (GIAN) course on ‘Expediency of Hindi Translation in a Global Perspective’ of the Hindi Section, Women’s College, Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

The week-long course from July 25 to 29 will be sponsored by the Ministry of Education.

“The resource persons for the course includes the Foreign Expert, Dr Premlata Vaishnava (University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA) and National Experts, Prof P C Tandon (Department of Hindi, University of Delhi), Prof Shambhunath Tiwari (Department of Hindi, AMU), Prof Rashid Nehal (Department of English, AMU) and Dr Jyoti Chawla (School of Translation Studies, IGNOU, New Delhi)”, said Prof M J Warsi (Local Coordinator, GIAN).
