Global Goodwill Ambassador(GGA) announces new ambassador for India, Singapore & Malaysia region

Mumbai: Global Goodwill Ambassador today has announced Ganesh Somwanshi, Founder, Krescendo Communications as the Global Goodwill Ambassador (GGA) honouring his Community works for India, Singapore and Malaysia region. There are approximately 6,000 Ambassadors from 148 countries in the program which is based on the 645 million LinkedIn network. The appointment process is closely watched by the Founder, Richard DiPilla, Lisa Jones, Executive President and COO of GGA and Youssef Saheb Bakhsh Country Director.The recognition is based on a person’s history of involvement in the non-profit world.

Ganesh has volunteered and worked for many social awareness projects in last 15 years. Some of the areas he is actively involved are education, healthcare, impact investing, policy interests, scaling social purpose organisations, strategic philanthropy and has also helped companies achieve their sustainability goals. Some of the initiative’s he has conceptualised are “Wings Rainbow- World’s first LGBT driven radio cab” which received an appreciation from The U.S. Consulate and “Peace On Wheels- Meditation on Wheels”. He is one of the core committee members of Dastak multi-cultural Theatre Festival, Singapore in which he closely worked with an ex-convict and curated a play, “Just Another Chance” based on his life. He has also raised funds for many groups and ran marathons to raise money and took part in medical missions.
