Govt offices paid tributes to architect of United India Sardar Patel
JAMMU : The Divisional level Government Offices and Directorates today held different activities and Pledge taking ceremonies to commemorate the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) and to pay tributes to iron Man of India Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel- the architect of Union of India.
Sheep Husbandry Directorate: A pledge taking ceremony was organized in the office complex of Directorate of Sheep Husbandry Jammu to mark the National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) celebrated every to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the architect of united India.
Director, Sheep Husbandry Jammu Krishan Lal conducted pledge taking ceremony and exhorted upon all to reaffirm the commitment to uphold the unity and integrity of the Country.
Livestock Development Board Jammu: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Livestock Development Board, Jammu Dr.Matloob AhmadTak on Sunday flagged off more than 100 bikers comprising Veterinary Doctors, Para-vets and progressive Dairy farmers as part of the celebrations of the National Unity Day, 2021.
The bike rally was organized in coordination with the National Dairy Development Board and as per the instructions of the Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying, Government of India. The Bike Rally commenced from the Directorate Of Animal Husbandry, TalabTillo and after travelling through various parts of the Jammu city culminated at the starting point. A pledge taking ceremony to uphold the Unity and Integrity of our Nation was also held on the occasion.
The entire event was conducted under the overall supervision of Navin Kumar Choudhary, Principal Secretary to the Government, Animal/Sheep Husbandry & Fisheries Department, Jammu & Kashmir Govt and Dr. Sagar D. Doifode, Director Animal Husbandry Department, Jammu.
Security Hqrs J&K, Jammu: As a tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, National Unity Day (Rashtriya Ekta Diwas) was celebrated at Security Headquarters J&K, Sidhara Jammu.
The function was organised under the aegis of Dr. S. D. Singh Jamwal, Additional Director General of Police, Security J&K.
Ranjit Singh, SSP (Tech), R.P. Singh, (Staff Officer), Ashish Rathore, CPO among other officers and officials of Security Headquarters/Security J&K and Security Transport workshop J&K were also present.
All the officers/officials solemnly took the “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas” pledge to dedicate themselves to preserve the unity, integrity and security of the nation.
Directorate Of School Education Jammu: The Directorate Of School Education Jammu observed the ‘National Unity Day – Rashtriya Ekta Divas’ to commemorate the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel by organizing a series of events in schools and offices across all the 10 districts of Jammu division.
Pledge taking ceremonies wherein students, teaching community, officials and other stakeholders took oath to uphold the unity, integrity, and security of the nation were organised along with a bouquet of activities like talk shows, debates, declamations, quiz competitions, painting coI am.noz planning to go anywhere for the next 50 yearsmpetitions, webinars, rallies etc. These events were held under the direct supervision of Chief Education Officers and Zonal Education Officers at District and Zonal level respectively.
At the division level the main event was organised at the Directorate Head Office Jammu where Director, School Education Jammu Dr. Ravi Shankar Sharma administered the unity oath to the staff members and paid rich tributes to Vallabhbhai Patel- the man who played an important role in the unification of India and is popularly known as the ‘Iron Man of India’ for his contributions to India’s independence and unity.
A webinar was also organised by the Directorate through its Cultural Cell targeted at promoting the values enned in the preamble to the constitution of India and to instil a sense of belongingness towards the nation amongst the students.
Guest speakers on the occasion, Anwar Khan, Principal Government Higher Secondary School Sawjian, Poonch; Kanchan Sharma, Senior Lecturer, Government Boys Higher Secondary School, Udhampur and Bharat Bhushan, Senior Lecturer, Government Higher Secondary School Barolla threw light on the socio-cultural as well as geographic diversity and unity of India.
The formal welcome address was presented by Surjit Hosh Badshali , while the event was moderated by Supriya Sharma and the technical support was provided by Ashutosh Sharma.
