Grand Inauguration of “Samaagam 2022”- Mega Annual Academic Fest of IMS Ghaziabad by Mr. Vijay Vikram Singh, Renowned Voice Over Professional of Big Boss Fame
Ghaziabad: Brimming with enthusiasm, ecstasy, optimism & energy, we are elated to share that under the leadership of Dr. Urvashi Makkar, Director, IMS Ghaziabad, the Institute organized “Samaagam 2022”’, its grand Inter Departmental Annual Academic Fest on December 22-23, 2022. Commencing with lots of fanfare, glitter and enthusiasm, the mega 2 days academic extravaganza was inaugurated by Distinguished Chief Guest, Mr. Vijay Vikram Singh, the renowned actor, voice over professional, voice coach of “BIG Boss” fame, the narrator’s voice of the mega reality show since 2010. Adding to the glitter, the event witnessed insights by Distinguished Guest of Honor, Mr. Bhuwan Mahajan, CFO and Cofounder, Edmyst New Horizons Pvt Ltd. The power packed competition was envisioned to provide a vibrant platform to the budding managers to showcase their talent, converge their creativity, build ideas in teams and constructively channelize their pent up energy.
Inspiring the budding professionals in her Inaugural Address, Dr. Urvashi Makkar spoke on the tremendous importance of out of class learning activities in developing managerial acumen and leadership qualities in the learners. She highlighted that “The format of Samaagam 2022 has been designed to ensure 100% inclusivity in terms of participation by the budding professionals”. Appreciating the energy flowing across the campus and the flawless execution of the mega event, she emphasized that “Samaagam 2022” will etch memories of a lifetime for one and all. Mr. Vijay Vikram Singh emphasized the tremendous importance of communication skills in making a lasting impression. Inspiring the learners, he motivated them to “Grow through what you go through”.
The action packed academic fest witnessed massive participation of the enthusiastic young minds in a variety of creative learning activities, organized by Markwiz, Aabhaar, Aayam, Finnacle, Saksham, IMS Analytica and Pioneers – the vibrant student driven clubs of the institute.. The showstopper event was the unique “Business Haat” organized by the Marketing Club wherein the young marketers did calculated bidding for strategic location of stalls in the open area of the campus, and demonstrated their marketing acumen in all stages of their venture.
Compered by Supriya Kumari & Devansh Chaubey and coordinated by Dr. Radhika Malhotra & Dr. Ajay Patel, the eclectic mix of competitions in the vibrant “Samaagam 2022” provided a glittering opportunity to youngsters to explore and gauge their practical exposure out of the management learnings received so far in the high octane, electrifying ambience of IMS Ghaziabad.
