The beautiful garden and the vast amphitheater of the school will be used for this purpose.

To ensure the safety of students and teachers all required safety measures have been put in place. Proper cleaning and sanitization of all the nooks and corners of the school campus are being ensured. The desks in the classroom are being arranged following SOPs laid out by the WB government maintaining required physical distancing.

Wearing a mask and maintaining physical distance is mandatory for all students. The Safety Committee members of the school will maintain all COVID safety protocols to ensure highest possible safety and security on campus.

Mrs. Sarbari Brahma, Principal, Griffins International School, Kharagpur said “We are very happy to have the students back on campus and will leave no stone unturned to keep them safe and to make them enjoy being in the school campus, after twenty long months. We will welcome them with greeting cards made by teachers.

Grades X and XII will be given admit cards for the Term – I Board Examination.

They will be given practice on the new format of the OMR sheet so that they are well accustomed to the same before they appear for the examination.

All the subject teachers will meet them and will clear their last-minute doubts. The teachers work to uplift their confidence and eradicate the fear of the examination if any.

Though a timetable has been made for Grades IX and XI, tomorrow there will be no hardcore studies. Students have been asked not to bring any books and notebooks. Our motive is to make them feel comfortable first with the school campus environment, with their friends and teachers whom they would be meeting offline, after a long time. We have planned confidence and team-building games for them which will help them to gel in with each other faster.

However, safety is our priority, and everything will be conducted keeping in mind the Covid safety protocols. The well thought measures taken by the school for the safety of the students were discussed with and shown to the parents of Grades IX and XI as well on 13th November.”

Mr. Abishek Yadav, Chairman, Griffins International School, commented, “The children have been deprived of coming to school and meeting their peers for a long period. This has significantly affected them both mentally and physically. Moreover, too much screen time on either mobile phone or laptop has been negatively impacting the well-being of the younger generation. I am happy to see the students back on campus. For an overall growth of a child the offline education system is essential. We are ready with all safety norms in place. The school premise and school buses are being sanitised extensively. Adherence to the new safety mandates is a must for all students and staff. We have invited parents to take part in an orientation and addressed the concerns of the parents before the students come to the campus.

Safety of students and staff has always been a matter of greatest importance for Griffins International School, Kharagpur I hope the situation would improve steadily and we would be able to welcome back the younger children also.”
