Guj CM Vijaybhai Rupani inaugurated Khadhya Khorak 2019 Expo at Gandhinagar

Gandhinagar: Chief Minister Mr. Vijaybhai Rupani today categorically stated that after attainting frontal positions in infrastructure, social, service and agriculture sectors, Gujarat is determined to build “Gujarati” as a brand at the international level through clean, hygienic, healthy foods and eatables.

Speaking at an inaugural function of a four-day long ‘Khadhya – Khurak -2019’ (Foods and Eatables – 2019) exhibition being held at Helipad Ground in Gandhinagar between December 19 – 22, the Chief Minister pointed out that the people have now become conscious about their health and fitness. Now, Gujaratis have gone one step forward about their eating habits by moving from organic foods to natural farm produce.

The exhibition is consisting of nearly 1,100 various stalls, exhibiting more than 1,000 different products. The Chief Minister also launched ‘Khadhya – Khurak 2019’ directory, Solar Pani-Puri machine, automated Prasad dispensing machines, and moveable air-conditioned solar cold-room.

Mr. Rupani further stated that the consumptions of the foods and drinks are directly related to the health of the humans. Thus, it is very essential that foods consumed should be clean, healthy, and hygienic to prevent the people from being prey to deadly diseases related to vital body organs like kidney, liver, heart, and cancer and others.

The Chief Minister also urged the food and hospitality industries to change the image of India at global level through new innovations and new ideas. The event was also graced by century old Jagannath Temple’s Mahant (Chief Priest) Pujya Shri Dilipdasji, Mahants – Shri Raghunandandasji, Vijaydasji, large numbers of invitees, exhibitors and others.
