Gujarat ensures workers get the facilities during lockdown post-COVID-19
Gandhinagar: Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani talked directly with factory workers and also migrant workers at the shelter homes through CM dashboard from Jan Seva Kendra at his residence here today.
Mr. Rupani in his inimitable style talked to them who took shelter at the auto parts producing company’s facility at Metoda Industrial Estate at Rajkot, and also at Surat Mahanagar Shelter Homes where 51 migrant workers from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra and Bihar have been provided shelters.
He inquired if food, stay, masks, sanitisers and medical checkup provided by the industrial houses were adequate and if they observed social distancing norms.
Mr. Rupani also talked to the workers at their production units at the oil mills at Makarpura in Vadodara and at bakery products company at Changodar in Ahmedabad.
The workers expressed satisfaction at the arrangements made by their employers and the government at their workplaces and shelter homes, and they too reciprocated by offering to contribute their might during this hour of crisis.
