HKU holds flag-raising ceremony to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China

To celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the University of Hong Kong (HKU) held a flag-raising ceremony on campus today (October 1).

Council Chairman Ms Priscilla Wong Pui-sze, Acting President Professor Richard Wong and Vice-President (Research) Professor Max Shen, together with Council and Senate members, Faculty Deans, staff members and students of the University attended the ceremony to celebrate this important occasion.
