Honda India Foundation honoured with ‘BHAMASHAH AWARD’ for remarkable contribution in education sector in Rajasthan

Jaipur : Recognizing its unwavering commitment towards enhancing the educational landscape in the state of Rajasthan, Honda India Foundation was awarded with the prestigious “BHAMASHAH AWARD’’ by the Government of Rajasthan.

 

The ‘Bhamashah Award’ is a symbol of excellence and innovation and the 27th Bhamashah Samman 2023 was organized on 11 Sept’23 at Birla Auditorium, Jaipur, Rajasthan. In a heartwarming gesture, the education department praised Honda India Foundation for being actively engaged in various educational initiatives aimed at empowering students and creating a brighter future for the youth in the rural areas of Rajasthan.

 

The felicitation ceremony was conducted in the august presence of Mr. Bulaki Das Kalla – Education Minister, Rajasthan, Mr. Navin Jain- Secretary & Commissioner at Government of Rajasthan, and Mr. Kaana Ram- Director, Panchayati Raj Department, Rajasthan among other eminent guests from Education department of Rajasthan. Mr. Satyaprakash Patil, Operating Head- CSR and Ms. Anu Mehta, Division Head- CSR and other representatives from Honda, accepted the Bhamashah Award on behalf of Honda India Foundation.

 

Major Projects Undertaken for Promotion of Education in Rajasthan:

 

· Infrastructure Development: Invested heavily in infrastructure improvements, constructing modern classrooms, libraries, and sanitation facilities for the youth of Rajasthan.

· Educational Resources: Provided educational materials and learning aids to facilitate a more encouraging learning environment.

· Teacher Training: Organized training programs for teachers, equipping them with innovative teaching methods and strategies.

· Extracurricular Activities: Initiated various extracurricular programs, including sports, music, arts, and cultural events, to foster holistic development among students.

Honda’s initiatives have had a remarkable impact, leading to significant increases in enrollment rates at schools, a notable decrease in dropout rates, and substantial improvements in academic performance. Both students and teachers have expressed deep appreciation for the positive changes these programs have brought into their lives.
