HRs’ Meet and Interaction Unveils Insights on “Talent Management Dynamics: Automation & Human Touch”

 

Aligarh : Aligarh Muslim University’s Department of Commerce recently played host to Human Resources (HR) Meet organized by students of the Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) Programme. Themed “Talent Management Dynamics: Automation & Human Touch,” the event, held at the Kennedy Auditorium, AMU Aligarh, brought together industry leaders and academia to explore the evolving landscape of talent management.

Mr. Altaf Husain, Head HR at ITC Ltd. (Haridwar) and President of NHRDN & PNGI (Uttarakhand Chapter), served as the Chief Guest, emphasizing the balance between automation and a human-centric approach in talent management.

Guests, including Mr. Mohd Imran (IPS), Registrar of AMU, highlighted the importance of academic-industry collaboration in shaping future HR professionals, acknowledging educational institutions’ role in preparing students for dynamic corporate demands. 

Professor Nawab Ali Khan, Convener of the event, emphasized the theme’s relevance in the current business environment, setting the stage for a platform of idea exchange.

Professor Nasir Zamir Qureshi, Dean of the Faculty of Commerce, provided insights into HR’s role in fostering a positive and inclusive work environment. The event featured notable speakers, including Mr. A Rehman, Managing Director, SBCC; Mr. Ovais Rehman, HR Manager, Wipro; and Mr. Syed Mohd Zakiullah, Associate Director (HR & Admin), IMCS Group. Each speaker shared valuable perspectives, contributing to the depth and diversity of discussions.

The HR Meet concluded with an interactive session, allowing participants to engage with speakers and delve deeper into talent management dynamics. Serving as a collaborative platform between academia and industry, Illumina: HRs’ Meet and Interaction facilitated meaningful discussions, shaping the future of talent management.

Student organizers, including Mr. Haider Ali Junaidi, Ms. Farwa Sakeena, Mr. Uzair Ansari, and Mr. Ilham Shams Usmani, expressed gratitude to guests, speakers, and participants for their contributions, making the event a resounding success.
