KLH Hyderabad Campus Enters Strategic Partnership Advancing Research in AI for Agriculture and Bio-Refinery  

Hyderabad – KLH Hyderabad campus of KL Deemed to be University has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Professor Jayashankar Telangana State Agriculture University (PJTSAU), marking the commencement of a strategic partnership aimed at advancing research in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Agriculture and Bio-Refinery. This collaborative initiative brings together two leading institutions to address pressing challenges in the agricultural sector and explore innovative solutions for a sustainable future.

The Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) outlines a strategic collaboration aimed at encouraging agricultural practices and promoting the development of eco-friendly technologies. The partnership focuses on integrating cutting-edge AI technologies into agriculture to enhance efficiency, productivity, and sustainability. Additionally, the collaboration employs advanced image processing techniques to develop solutions for informed policy interventions in agriculture. The research team will explore innovative approaches such as furfural production from corn cobs, contributing to the bio-based chemical industry and reducing agricultural waste. As part of this MoU both the institutions will submit joint proposals to funding agencies like Department of Science & Technology (DST), Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) for collaborative research in the above-mentioned emerging areas.
