ICCR sponsored 10-day National Research Methodology Workshop from 4 Dec.

 

Aligarh : The Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), under the Ministry of Education, Government of India, has announced an offline 10-day National Research Methodology Workshop to address challenges in promoting research, particularly in the social sciences within Higher Education Institutions.

Targeting M.Phil, Ph.D., and PDF scholars in the social sciences, this workshop will be held from December 4th to December 13th, 2023, at the University Grants Commission Human Resource Development Centre (UGC HRDC) in Aligarh. Dr. Naseem Ahmad Khan, Professor and Chairperson of the Department of Social Work at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), will lead as the Course Director, with Dr. S.M. Khan, a Professor in the Department of Psychology at AMU, serving as the Course Co-Director.

The workshop aims to equip participants with essential research skills, including formulating research questions, selecting appropriate methodologies, data collection and analysis, and effective reporting of findings. Notably, the workshop will introduce openware applications and integrate artificial intelligence into research methodologies, enhancing scholars’ research capabilities.
